Dong(Marcus) Fang is a UX Designer and Researcher who is passionate about accessible design and vehicle interface design. He excels at solving complex problems and has a strong ability to analyze issues from multiple perspectives. With a background in computer science, Marcus is interested in working in an interdisciplinary environment and is committed to creating user-friendly interfaces based on his knowledge and experience.
Background
Over the past few years, I initially focused on studying computer science and statistics to achieve goals through programming, and understand the relationship between statistical data and outcomes. However, as I interacted with different tools, I developed a growing interest in the interaction between humans and computers. This led me to think about effective ways to enhance this interaction and bridge the gap between the interface and users themselves.
Since then, I have developed a strong interest in the field of Human-Computer Interaction due to its interdisciplinary nature, which allows me to solve real-life problems from multiple perspectives. I have taken relevant courses and completed various projects in engineering, computer science, and psychology, collaborating with different companies. As a result, I have decided to further my knowledge in HCI through my graduate studies.
Furthermore, I like to try different things in his life. He studied history and published a thesis in the field of Jewish Studies during his undergraduate years.
Interest
As technology advances, I am excited about the future of personal computing. Interfaces are constantly improving to be more user-friendly and easy to use, which fills me with enthusiasm. I believe that further studies in HCI can make it easier for humans to interact with personal computing devices and remove barriers.
Additionally, I am determined to actively engage in every stage of the process of perfecting, from strategy preparation to user research, and meticulously refining various interactions. I am deeply enthusiastic about crafting interfaces that not only possess an aesthetically pleasing appearance but also prioritize delivering an outstanding user experience.
